I•GIS is a small, highly specialized GIS and geoscience software provider with both a national and international customer base. We thrive on working in the area between university researches and industry practitioners, making research available in a production environment. Our teams of dedicated consultants and software developers have a broad educational background, including software developers, computer scientist, physicists, geologists, geophysicists and GIS experts.
At I•GIS we help our customers in Denmark and around the world with mapping of groundwater resources. For our rapidly expanding activities, especially abroad, we are looking for a candidate who can join our team on geological modeling and data management i.e. the GeoScene3D software and GeoCloud solutions, which is state of the art on several areas.
As an international project- and market manager you will, together with your team colleagues, be responsible for maintaining and developing our services regarding geoscience software and services abroad. This involves participation in conferences, you will primarily contribute with presentations and staffing an exhibition boot and visits to customers and partners in development projects. You will also help draft solutions as well as provide support and training for the customers. In this job, you will have a responsibility to expand the market and market share of our services internationally. The job involves some travelling.
I•GIS has many exciting development projects where we develop groundbreaking new technology with companies and research institutions, both nationally and internationally. You will therefore also have the opportunity to engage in tasks of this nature and help us develop our services, and define and implement new areas within geoscience.
I•GIS develops and sells software and software services, so knowledge about IT, IT technologies and solutions is an important part of the job. You must be able to advise solutions to our customers and discuss possible implementation with our software team.
